About Us

The Hobart City Church of Christ  was established in 1872 and has been a witness to the Hobart community ever since. Originally building and meeting in the Christians Chapel in Collins Street (now used as political office), the community relocated to its present site stretching between 203 Liverpool and 8 Goulburn Streets in 1991.
Entering from Goulburn Street, via our car park you will find our worship centre and café space – which is the main focus for Sunday, while also being a community friendly space for activities during the week.Downstairs, best accessed from Liverpool Street, are the church offices, with a second auditorium space and breakout rooms behind, used for children’s church on Sunday and by community groups during the week.
