Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

JESUS SENDS US into the world, as the Father sent him into the world. … In other words our mission is to be modeled on his. Indeed all authentic mission is incarnational mission. It demands identification without loss of identity. It means entering other people's worlds as he entered ours, though without compromising our Christian convictions, values, or standards.
John Stott, The Contemporary Christian

Thread Together

Compassion Australia

because worldwide, 356 million children live in extreme poverty. Poverty robs children of their basic rights to learn, play and grow. In its ugliest form, poverty can lead to exploitation, child labour and even death. It's unacceptable in the modern world.

Christians Against Poverty

CAP Australia is a Christian charity that believes no Australian should live in financial distress, and so is equipping a movement of churches to walk alongside those in financial distress while confidently proclaiming Jesus. CAP provides the church with practical tools, services and skills, so they can tangibly enable financial well-being for their community, regardless of their situation, providing all services free of charge.

Operation Christmas Child

s a hands-on way for you to bless children in need across the world by filling shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and fun gifts. We collect the boxes and distribute them in the name of Jesus Christ to children living in vulnerable situations.  Last year we packed over 300.

Open Hands Nubeena

is a community food bank operated by the Nubeena Church of Christ, serving over 100 families each week with emergency food support. We support this ministry financially, and practically through the collection of food items.

Gospel For Asia

has, since 1979,  been committed to serving the “least of these” in Asia, often in places where no one else is serving, so they can experience the love of God for the first time. GFA supports national workers serving as the hands and feet of Christ.
