For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters...use your freedom to serve one another in love.
Galatians 5:13 (New Living Translation)
Beyond the Sunday worship service, there are opportunities for connection, fellowship, community, and serving throughout the week and across Greater Hobart.
Life Groups
Our Life Groups (or small groups – as they are often called) are spaces where we can gather to ‘do’ life together. Often these groups will do independently guided studies, share a meal together, pray for each other – and just enjoy being together around a shared activity. At other times, the life groups join together to do an all-church study series, which is connected with the Sunday worship service. Located around the city of Greater Hobart, there should be one near you - or starting very soon.
Contact the Church Office for details of group leaders and locations.

Prayer Groups
Prayer is vitally important in the life of a Jesus follower and in the health of a local church. While there are many localised pray groups around greater Hobart, two occur weekly at City Church. Sunday at 9:30 am in the parent’s room, and Thursday at 8 am (for 30 minutes) in the Liverpool Street foyer OR via ZOOM (if you want to prayer in your PJs – contact the office to be sent the link) – prayers for our World, our Country, our State, our City and ourselves. Everyone is welcome – no compulsion to pray out loud (if that is not your thing).
Specific Groups
Depending on your passions, interests and time - there are other specific groups that you can connect with.
